The UK Offshore Wind Supply Chain Spotlight is an annual event co-hosted by Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership.
Bringing together political and industry leaders, developers, investors, and leading UK suppliers, Spotlight is designed to drive innovation, share insight, build meaningful connections, and unlock critical investment across the sector.
XPO was appointed to deliver a high-end, flexible theatre and demonstration space, complemented by directional carpet designed to naturally guide attendees into key areas of the event.
Using our Aluvision system, we created a versatile theatre environment that could seamlessly transition between a presentation stage and an interactive demo space, supporting both formal sessions and more immersive, hands-on learning experiences.
With the event taking place in Edinburgh, and a relatively small carpet requirement, traditional logistics would have driven unnecessary cost. Instead, we adopted a smarter approach, utilising local labour, sourcing carpet regionally, and coordinating transport alongside the feature build. This not only reduced costs for the client but also significantly lowered the overall carbon footprint of the project.
